Casino Español Orientation

HI! ANNYEONG! KONNICHIWA HIVERS! It’s @angelwingss again! And today I’m going to share with you all what happened during our orientation for Casino Español internship.

So, last July 02, 2025, was the day of our orientation. The day before that, the Casino called me but unfortunately I wasn’t able to answer it because I was in the bathroom taking a bath. When I checked my phone, there was a missed call and a text, saying that the orientation will be held by July 2 at 9 am and also the requirements needed for my internship.

We left at 8 am, I was quite nervous because I might get late and not arrive on time because the location of Casino is really far and it will take around an your to get there if there is no traffic. On the way there, we also stopped for a gas.

It was around 8:51 a.m when we arrive at Casino Español. Thankfully, my cousin was a pro and fast driver. When I arrive at the Casino, the guard told me to go inside the office. I followed his instruction and when I went inside, I saw a girl who will also attend the orientation. Her name was Emily and she’s a 2nd year student from UCLM. We talked for a few minutes because Ms. Hadje, the assistant HR manager said that there are also students from Ctu Pinamungahan who will attend the orientation.

After a few minutes, the interns from Ctu Pinamungahan arrive and miss Hadje lead us on one of the events room, which was called Don Quixote. When we went inside, there were tables and chairs already. Me and Emily sit together and before the orientation started, a service guy serve us cold water first. And then, Miss hadje lead the prayer.

During the orientation, Miss hadje discussed the things that we need to know about Casino Español, she discussed the origin of Casino, the clothes that we need to wear, the requirements and the do’s and don’ts. After that, she then assigned us on our designated department. All of them were assigned on server, kitchen, and housekeeping. I was the only one who was assigned in Banquet sales. After assigning us, some of us wanted to go to the bathroom, so the service crew earlier, guided us to the ladies locker where the C.R is located.

After taking a break, we went back inside and Miss hadje wanted to show us the proper way of opening a wine bottles and how and when to wash our hands properly. After the video showing, she then tour us around the premises. I was quite shocked because i didn’t imagine that they have a lot of facilities. They have gym, 8-10 event halls, badminton court, bowling, 5 restaurants, a pool, a game room, and on going basketball court.

During our tour, I didn’t cath up a bit because I was kind of loss of words from the size of Casino inside and aside from that, you will really get lost if you don’t remember the way. Tho, we’re still new so we can’t familiarize it yet.

After the tour, Miss hadje had let us to go home already. We finished our tour around 12 noon so my cousin and I went to Mcdo first to eat our lunch. After that, we went home already.
