Museum

Micropia is a museum located in Amsterdam that takes you by the hand through the history of microbes, particularly the 100 billion microbes, all 1.5kg of them that live in us. The microbiology originated a few kilometers from Amsterdam when Antoni van Leeuwenhoek built one of the first microscopes and discovered that everyday objects, as well as he himself, were full of tiny life forms. A place to get fit and learn all about bacteria, viruses, what you exchange when you kiss, shake hands, what lives in the toothbrush until digestion.
