I SPUDded ON 1st AUGUST FOR STEEM

Few hours back for which I believed to be still 1st August for steemit UST global timing, I too took part in an historic event of steemit, I am not sure though but hopefully I am also became part of history probably. I also done little powering on the day.

In terms of steemit economy, I am poor - as for me - that part was never my USP. My primary intention with this great platform is to actively participate, constantly engage with others and being in touch with some of the great personalities here. Of course I love to get upvotes, comments etc but steem economy is a mystery part for me. I would like to master it in the near future too as I would be free from other day today routine job.

But I know this platform is serious in making digital Money an invitable part of social economy, and despite the giant Facebook has introduced its own digilal currency, steem is going to rule that world without any challenge and I believe in it.

I had seen so many post since last few weeks about SPUD, especially from giants of steem it like @xpilar @streetstyle @sultan-aceh, @exyle etc and my impression was that it is not for minnows like me and I did not gave the due consideration.

But when I saw many people are involved with this event I thought I should also follow the people who I look forward to in this platform for inspiration or motivation especially @xpilar, @exyle, @brittandjosie who struggles a lot to maintain this platform healthy, active and energetic.

Then I checked my wallet as I know there are some STEEM available as I was the winner of Curie's Comment Contest for consecutive three weeks fetching me 30 STEEMs. So I decided to Power Up and done my bit for SPUD.
