Even though Sindh (Province of Pakistan) has put a ban on corporal punishment, the social mind set of physically and emotionally punishing a child in the name of discipline still exists in schools. Hence, this project aims to promote the current amendment in the law prohibiting corporal punishment in schools of Sindh, which has been passed in the year 2017. Teach! Don’t beat. It is an awareness campaign targeting teachers which would help them think twice before punishing a child in the name of discipline. The campaign is under Child Rights Movement in collaboration with Sindh government.
