Throwback Thursday: my first day at work
Looking at this picture from my first day at work brings back a whirlwind of emotions. I remember picking out my outfit with extra care, nerves fluttering in my stomach as I walked through those doors. Everything felt unfamiliar—new faces, new responsibilities, new routines. But by lunchtime, a friendly colleague shared a joke with me, which instantly eased my nerves and made me feel like I belonged. That day taught me that every beginning comes with challenges, but also small moments of kindness that make all the difference.
