HTS captures new town inside Idlib deescalation zone
BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:40 P.M.) - Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham has expanded their presence in the Idlib deescalation zone, today, after clashing with the Turkish-backed rebels in northwestern Hama.
According to reports from the Idlib province, Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham captured the town of Zayzoun in northwestern Hama after overrunning the defenses of the Turkish-backed National Liberation Front (NLF).
As a result of this advance, Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham has now captured two towns from the National Liberation Front in northwestern Syria.
Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham is now attempting to capture more ground from the National Liberatio Front, as they look to expand their presence in Hama and Idlib.
