My First Time Seeing Korean Baseball Game

As a sport fan I am I use to think of many sporting activities like football, tennis, basketball, hockey and even cricket but I use to think less of baseball cos In my country is not too much popular, but when I hear about Korea and their KBO league, I say let me check it. Honestly it was one of the most exciting sports event I ever see in my life.

The first time I had to watch a base ball match in my life was Doosan Bears and Lotte Giants. I don’t even know all the rules well, don't understand much of it and sometimes I use confuse who is winning, but the atmosphere was crazy. The fans was singing, shouting, clapping like it was a festival not only a game. That alone make me fall in love with Korean baseball.

Seeing this kind of crowd and cheering is use to make me think about seeing my self live at those match eating some chicken and beer, watching Lotte Giants play. In Korea baseball is not just sport, it is culture. People bring drums, trumpet, and even dance in the stand.

What surprises are they me more is that even when team is losing, fans still shout to support and sing. In football back home if your team is losing, people will be angry and fight. But in Korea, the baseball crowd look like family, they never stop cheering.

And also I have hear about Korean Series, it is like their final big game for the champion of the league. For sure if get chance to watch live, I will not miss it.

For me, Korean baseball show me that sport is not only about the to score or win but people happiness matters a lot and people coming together is their goal. Even if you don’t understand the rule, you will enjoy because of the energy around. That is why I say KBO is one of the best sports events in Korea I want to experience real with my own eyes.
