A New History

Big news has echoed into the entire country, a country that has the fourth largest population in the world, and with a big rooting over football, with huge fanbase and militant supporters. The National football team advance to the next round in the Asian Cup which is being held in Qatar.

They advance to the next round of the cup for the very first time in history, such great news for all of us, Indonesians, and also football supporters. The team was in big scrutiny earlier, since there were a lot of naturalization players in the team, but they proved to everyone that they really meant to play hard and give all out for the Indonesia Jersey and bring Indonesia to the international stage.

They actually finished third in the preliminary group stage but could advance because they are some of the best third-place teams, that could advance to the next round. they lost to Iraq, won against Vietnam, and then lost to Japan in the last game on the group stage. In the next stage, Australia has already waiting for them. Another huge obstacle for them to face. But so far they have already doing really awesome,a nd a history has been made, something that we have to achieve in the next competition.
