Please join our new community - Politics and Reason

I am thoroughly impressed with the scope and potential of decentralized social media on Hive. Even more so there are genuinely brilliant individuals posting and creating content here.

With this community I hope to foster and aggregate deep discussion of politics and philosophy and help make Hive the go to location for commentary, news, and current events.

Full disclosure I've been heavily involved in Republican Politics in the past, I was a Vice Chair for Communications for a State Level Republican Party, and I was also a Delegate to the 2020 Republican National Convention.

So what happens if your politics aren't in alignment with mine?

Nothing! We need robust censorship-resistant discussion, and in discussion we clarify our own ideas and others. These days I'm probably closer to a "Republicanist" (in a Platonic sense) than a traditional Republican - and I enjoy reading well written and intelligently articulated positions on variety of positions and topics.

I've left the rules empty for now - for the most part general Hive etiquette should serve well here. For the more experienced Hiver's please let me know if I have made a glaring error or omission.
