Charming castle

A perfect day for a walk to the Wildegg Castle, was built by the Habsburgs in the first half of the 13th century and came into the possession of the Effinger family in the late 15th century, who lived in the castle over eleven generations. The baroque castle grounds has a wonderful rose garden, forest and farmyard is still one of a kind in Switzerland.

It is majestically situated on a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding area.
