A stroll along the beach

Mamaia was one of the liveliest seaside resorts on the Black Sea coast on the Romanian side. It is located on the narrow headland between the Black Sea and the freshwater lake Sitghiol.

Along the beach you will finde a lot of stores, restaurants, night clubs and many terraces.
Mamaia was originally a small village with Greek and Lipovan fishermen, Romanian shepherds and Tatar horse breeders.

Mamaia is located just a few kilometers north of the huge city of Constanta, which serves as the largest port on the Black Sea and the second largest city in the country.
