Scammers issues July 2020

Ending July, i have received a notification from HSBC bank, my account got closed.
I was dealing with two cases of scammers who used me meanwhile they took the money from depositors.
I showed all the transactions with the traders on Paxful, i asked Paxful any help and the never answered. After those issues I stopped trading. Only I accept to trade with id. But of course nobody gives id. So, since April I focus more on trading at KuCoin.
The two issues were for 2500 hkd. One of the depositors i gave back the money from my side, I mean because i was not able to use my account i sent back the money from another account. I was expecting she reports to tge bank we already fix the issue. But the answer finally arrives three weeks ago.
But the nightmare not yet finished. Today i got a call from police... now i have another issue. I will have to approach to the police station next week. I have no idea how much is from that issue. The only I know from the agent is there was a 5 transactions on February and March.
I was asking for a memo signing they agree i am sending bitcoin to the Paxful user name. So my big question is how if you are scammed you don't stop doing deposits if you don't receive the product the scammer offers?? How can someone do a five times deposits and later report the issue? The problem with those deposits i cannot contact the depositor.
I am afraid if they will forced me to pay, OMG.
