How to Revoke Posting Authority

postner.png

A funny but sad story happened today. But is the reason for this article.
I accidentally noticed that my Resource Credits is at a critical minimum, although it seems that the activity from the hive did not increase.

At first I thought that following bradleyarrow@bradleyarrow suddenly increased activity, but it turned out that this was not the case.

By the time I figured out just to look into the RC blockchain, I had less than 0.2. And even realizing that the CryptoBrewMaster game endlessly sends custom_json requests to the blockchain without my participation, which consumes RC, I could not do anything.

The only thing left for me was to ask my friends to delegate me a little hive so that I would immediately revoke posting authority for CryptoBrewMaster.

To do this, follow the link @your_account/permissions
Select the Authorities tab

And we see everyone to whom we have entrusted our keys for one purpose or another.
As you can see on my screen, I have a bunch of things that don't even exist anymore.
For example steemauto I need to follow bradleyarrow@bradleyarrow then piggy-bubba I don't even remember what it is.

I understand that the guys had a failure and no one is safe from this, but it will take me 4 days to fully restore.
And the post is actually about what if you see incomprehensible activity on your account in the blockchain - https://hiveblocks.com/@your_account
Revoke your key from those showing inadequate activity immediately.
