The Silent Strength Within

John:
Man David, sometimes it feels like no matter how hard we try nothing ever changes.

David:
It does change, John it just doesn’t show right away.

John:
But when there’s failure all around something inside a person breaks too.

David:
No… nothing inside breaks, it just goes a little quiet.

John:
Quiet? What do you mean?

David:
I mean that spirit inside you it doesn’t go anywhere. You just stop listening to it.

John:
And what if it never comes back?

David:
It’s always there inside you you just have to believe in yourself.

John:
Sometimes I feel like maybe I don’t even have that strength inside me.

David:
Everyone has it. The only difference is some people recognize it and some lose it to doubt.

John:
So can I change too?

David:
Not change just remember who you really are.

John:
Maybe you’re right the real battle isn’t outside, it’s inside.

David:
Exactly and when a person wins inside the world outside starts to feel easier on its own.
