Cryptocurrencies (A Brief Review)
Surely you will ask what is a Virtual Currency: Well this is a type of currency that has no regulation, and is Digital, is created and controlled by its developers, in addition to being used and accepted among users of a specific virtual association.
These virtual currencies are created and accumulated electronically, and are based on cryptography.
And what is Cryptography: I tell you that this is the study of information encryption methods, which sends a message in a secure and private way, with its security parameters and data authentication.
You will also ask yourself why that name CRIPTOMONEDAS, I tell you that CRYPT, is a Greek word that means KRUPTOS that in Greek means hidden or secret.
Now and what is its origin: it is said that they are born of a movement called Cypherpunk, which came out in the 80s, which defended the open use of cryptography, as a weapon of social and political changes.
In 1990. David Chaun creates Digicash.
A centralized electronic money system that allowed more anonymous and secure transactions.
In 1997, Adam Black proposed Hashcash, a system based on work proof to limit spam and denial of service (DoS) attacks.
In 2009, a person or group of people under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto public Bitcoin, the first fully decentralized cryptocurrency, using a chain of blocks (blockchain in English) with proof of work. Bitcoin uses the SHA-256 algorithm, a cryptographic hash function.
