Tarsa | Splinterlands art contest

Hola querida comunidad! Para mi participación de esta semana en el concurso de @Splinterlands he elegido la carta de Tarsa, este boceto lo hice hace dos semanas pero no me gustaba mucho como había quedado, esta semana algunos de mis amigos artistas me animaron a terminarla y creo que me gusto bastante después de todo, quise representarla en un retrato con un toque bastante oscuro y siniestro, una iluminación en el rostro bastante genial que jamás había hecho, y debajo de ella llamas de fuego que es una de las cosas que representan a este personaje, espero que les guste tanto como me gusto a mi.

Hello dear community! For my participation this week in the @Splinterlands art contest I have chosen Tarsa's card, I made this sketch two weeks ago but I didn't really like how it turned out, this week some of my artist friends encouraged me to finish it and I think I I liked her a lot after all, I wanted to represent her in a portrait with a this dark and sinister vibes, a lighting on her face that was quite great that I had never done, and under it flames of fire, which is one of the things that represent this character, I hope you like it as much as I like it.

Como les mencioné este boceto lo hice hace dos semanas, no me gustaba para nada, sentía que era muy simple, sin embargo esa misma noche que realice el boceto me anime a pintar la primera capa y no me estaba gustando para nada jaja, recién ayer me atreví a continuarlo y simplemente confiar en el proceso, aplique una segunda capa donde aplicaría mas tonos para dar mas detalles al rostro, este tipo de iluminación es algo nuevo para mi pero es bastante interesante el cambio que hace en un rostro, para el cabello coloque un color marrón de base.

As I mentioned this sketch I did it two weeks ago, I didn't like it at all, I felt it was very simple, however that same night I made the sketch I was encouraged to paint the first layer and I wasn't liking it at all haha, just yesterday I dared to continue it and simply trust the process, I applied a second layer where I would apply more tones to give more details to the face, this type of lighting is something new for me but the change it makes to a face is quite interesting, for the hair place a base brown color.

Arregle un poco su cuello y ropa haciendo un escote un poco mas libre, después empecé a colorear todo el rostro mezclando todas las tonalidades que había puesto y asi poco a poco formar este rostro claramente, una de las cosas que mas me gusta es su sonrisa, y para sus labios simplemente utilice dos tonos de rojo, en el fondo hice una especie de luz tenue naranja y comencé a darle forma a su cabello con luces naranjas.

I fixed her neck and clothes a bit by making a neckline a little freer, then I started to color the whole face mixing all the shades that I had put and thus little by little form this face clearly, one of the things that I like the most is her smile , and for her lips I just used two shades of red, in the background I did kind of an orange soft light and started to shape her hair with orange highlights.

Pinte las llamas debajo de su rostro y con un pincel especial agregue estas pequeñas llamas flotando alrededor, pinte un poco de sangre saliendo de su nariz y finalmente di los últimos ajustes de luz y profundidad a mi dibujo.

I painted the flames under her face and with a special brush I added these little flames floating around, I painted some blood coming out of the nose and finally I gave the last light and depth adjustments to my drawing.
