Splinterlands art contest | Time Mage

Hola chicos, hoy quiero compartir mi nueva entrada al concurso de @Splinterlands para el cual esta vez elegí la carta de “Time Mage” esta vez solo quise dibujar torso por lo cual debía pensar en que elementos agregar para poder hacer esta carta muy llamativa y que aun mantenga la esencia de la carta original, esta vez quise ayudarme un poco con IA, por eso realice el reloj con ayuda de playground pero lo modifique al colocarlo para asi darle los últimos toques que quería, ya que la IA realmente no me dio el resultado 100% acertado, quería un reloj flotante que estuviese quebrandose, como si el tiempo estuviese deteniéndose por un instante, una “Time mage” con un rostro fino y delicado, de ojos cerrados percibiendo como su reloj se quiebra en mil pedazos, trabaje con un fondo que realice con ayuda de pincel difuso, simulando una especie de espacio brillante, me costo mucho realizar todos los elementos que tenia en mente esta vez, pero aquí esta el resultado, espero que les guste.

Hi guys, today I want to share my new entry to the @Splinterlands contest for which this time I chose the "Time Mage" card, this time I only wanted to draw torso so I had to think about what elements to add to make this card very striking and still keep the essence of the original card, this time I wanted to help me a little with AI, so I made the clock with the help of playground but I modified it when I placed it to give the final touches I wanted, I wanted a floating clock that was breaking, as if the time was stopping for an instant, a "Time mage" with a fine and delicate face, with closed eyes perceiving how her clock breaks into a thousand pieces, I worked with a background that I made with the help of a diffuse brush, simulating a kind of bright space, it cost me a lot to make all the elements that I had in mind this time, but here is the result, I hope you like it.

Pensé mucho en cómo hacer esta carta, de hecho hace mucho tiempo que quería pintarla, pero realmente tiene tantos elementos que me parecía imposible, sin embargo se me ocurrió esta idea y la plasmé en mi boceto, luego comencé a pintar con una paleta de color rosas y morados, luego aplique una nueva capa donde añadí más colores y también pinte el cabello con un morado oscuro y desaturado, luego empecé a mezclar los tonos de la piel para darle un acabado mas realista, termine de darle detalles al rostro, pintando las cejas y pestañas.

I thought a lot about how to make this card, in fact I wanted to paint it a long time ago, but it really has so many elements that it seemed impossible, however I came up with this idea and I put it in my sketch, then I started painting with a palette of pinks and purples, then I applied a new layer where I added more colors and also painted the hair with a dark and desaturated purple, then I started to mix the skin tones to give it a more realistic finish, I finished giving details to the face, painting the eyebrows and eyelashes.

Comencé a rellenar la ropa con los colores similares a los de la carta original, pero a diferencia de que son un poco mas desaturados, luego poco a poco fui agregando las texturas de cada parte de la ropa y los detalles dorados, también añadí los detalles al cabello como luces y sombras, para asi darle movimiento y forma al peinado, cambie el fondo a un color oscuro y ya para este punto comencé a realizar el reloj con ayuda de IA en Playground me costó muchísimo conseguir un buen resultado, realmente estaba bloqueada con las frases que debía utilizar, finalmente elegí una de las opciones que mas me gusto y lo recorte y pegue sobre el dibujo, hice algunos ajustes con la herramienta de “transformar” para darle un mejor ángulo, utilice la herramienta de selección y realice pequeñas selecciones y elimine parte de la forma del reloj para asi darle este efecto de que esta quebrandose, comencé a dibujar pequeñas partículas que simulan los trozos de reloj flotando, también pinte la aguja del reloj en un color dorado, y pinte sobre algunas partes del reloj que no me gustaba como lucia.

I started to fill the clothes with the colors similar to those of the original card, but with the difference that they are a little more desaturated, then little by little I added the textures of each part of the clothes and the golden details, I also added the details to the hair as lights and shadows, to give movement and shape to the hairstyle, I changed the background to a dark color and by this point I started to make the clock with the help of AI in Playground it was very hard to get a good result, I was really blocked with the phrases that I had to use, finally I chose one of the options that I liked the most and I cut and pasted it over the drawing, I made some adjustments with the "transform" tool to give it a better angle, I used the selection tool and made small selections and eliminated part of the shape of the clock to give this effect that it is breaking, I started to draw small particles that simulate the pieces of the clock floating, I also painted the needle of the clock in a golden color, and painted over some parts of the clock that I didn't like how it looked like.

Utilice algunos colores azules y amarillos para crear este fondo, hice las formas que simulan una aurora boreal y luego pinte algunas pequeñas estrellas amarillas, aplique mas partículas saliendo del reloj, luego añadí algunos detalles de luz en el rostro y en algunas partes del fondo, finalmente edite el dibujo dándole un poco mas saturación y profundidad.

I used some blue and yellow colors to create this background, I made the shapes that simulate an aurora borealis and then painted some small yellow stars, applied more particles coming out of the clock, then I added some light details in the face and in some parts of the background, finally I edited the drawing giving it a little more saturation and depth.
