River Nymph | Splinterlands art contest

Feliz inicio de semana para todos, en esta oportunidad les muestro mi nueva entrada al concurso de @Splinterlands para esta ocasión elegí la carta de River Nymph, esta vez quise hacer algo que me gusta mucho que son los retratos, siento que puedo dar un poco mas de detalles y realismo a estos, más que un dibujo a cuerpo completo, el personaje de esta carta es una elfa que se ve bastante tierna y hermosa, entonces pensé que seria bonito representarla de una manera tierna con una sonrisa adorable, aunque nunca dibujo sonrisas creo que quedo bastante bien.

Happy start to the week everyone, this time I show you my new entry to the @Splinterlands contest for this occasion I chose the River Nymph card, this time I wanted to do something that I really like, which are portraits, I feel I can give a little more details and realism to these, more than a full body drawing, the character of this card is an elf who looks quite tender and beautiful, so I thought it would be nice to represent her in a tender way with an adorable smile, although I never draw smiles I think it turned out quite well.

Desde que comencé a hacer el boceto estaba muy insegura porque no sabía si quedaría bien su expresión, decidí seguir adelante y aplicar una paleta de color azul en toda su piel, decidí hacer sus labios de un tono diferente y elegí un color rosa, poco a poco mi pequeña elfa estaba tomando forma, pintando y mezclando los colores creando suavidad en su piel, para su cabello tome el color de la imagen original pero unos tonos mas bajos para hacerlo un poco desaturado y oscuro.

Since I started making the sketch I was very insecure because I didn't know if her expression would look good, I decided to go ahead and apply a blue color palette all over her skin, I decided to make her lips a different tone and I chose a pink color, little by little. Little by little my little elf was taking shape, painting and mixing the colors creating softness on her skin, for her hair I took the color of the original image but a few tones lower to make it a little desaturated and dark.

Arregle su ropa porque la había pintado muy mal jaja y seguí trabajando en su cabello esta vez usando tonos mas claros y oscuros para dar volumen y realismo, pinte la corona, la hice de una manera diferente pintando algunas líneas y pequeñas bolitas brillantes.

I fixed her clothes because I had painted them very badly haha and I continued working on her hair this time using lighter and darker tones to give volume and realism, I painted the crown, I did it in a different way painting some lines and little shiny balls.

Una vez lista agregue un fondo floreado, un cielo azul y trabaje un poco en la iluminación de este entorno que rodea a mi elfa, agregando un poco de luz de un tono morado bastante claro y llamativo, creando reflejos en su piel y rostro, finalmente di los últimos toques resaltando algunas partes del dibujo y ajustando un poco la tonalidad para que no se viese tan azul, al final me di cuenta que hice todo muy azul y realmente faltaba un poquito mas de verde.

Once ready, add a flowery background, a blue sky and work a little on the lighting of this environment that surrounds my elf, adding a little light of a quite clear and striking purple tone, creating reflections on her skin and face, finally I gave the last touches highlighting some parts of the drawing and adjusting the tonality a bit so that it didn't look so blue, in the end I realized that I made everything very blue and a little more green was really missing.

Me gusto realizar esta versión en forma de retrato, siento que es un poco más cómodo para mi aunque también me gusta experimentar con cuerpos completos que siempre será un reto para mi, espero que les haya gustado, que tengan un lindo dia.

I liked making this version in the form of a portrait, I feel that it is a little more comfortable for me, although I also like to experiment with full bodies, which will always be a challenge for me, I hope you liked it, have a nice day.
