Lovely

Buenas noches. Aunque las flores no son mi fuerte, quise intentar un retrato que tuviera flores, sin embargo, fue demasiado difícil para mi recrear toda la idea que tenia en mente y termine dibujando menos flores de las que esperaba, aun asi me gusto como termino viéndose, intente utilizar tonos desaturados para crear unan atmosfera nostálgica y tambien agregar un poco mas de naturaleza usando pequeñas hojas alrededor. Tambien quise dar un toque rustico dando algunas pinceladas en diferentes zonas para imitar un poco ese estilo de pintura al óleo. Espero que les guste.

Although flowers aren't my strong suit, I wanted to try a portrait with flowers. However, it was too difficult for me to recreate the entire idea I had in mind, and I ended up drawing fewer flowers than I expected. I still liked how it turned out. I tried using desaturated tones to create a nostalgic atmosphere and also adding a bit more nature by using small leaves around the edges. I also wanted to give it a rustic touch by adding some brushstrokes in different areas to imitate that oil painting style a bit. I hope you like it.

Realicé mi boceto y comencé a pintar la piel usando tonos beige y marrones desaturados. En una nueva capa agregue mas colores para darle mejor forma al rostro y tambien añadiendo tonalidades rojizas. Luego comencé a mezclar los colores de la piel dejando un resultado un poco mas suave, pero manteniendo algo de textura, la mano la trabajé en una capa diferente para darle detalles poco a poco hasta formar la mano correctamente.

I created my sketch and began painting the skin using beige and desaturated brown tones. On a new layer, I added more colors to give the face a better shape and also added reddish tones. Then I began blending the skin colors, creating a slightly softer result but still maintaining some texture. I worked on the hand on a separate layer, gradually adding details until the hand was formed correctly.

Cuando aun no sabia que hacer con el fondo, coloque un color solido de un marrón claro desaturado, el cabello al principio lo pinte de marrón claro, pero sentí que no resaltaba sus rasgos de la manera que quería, entonces lo cambie a un color un poco más oscuro. Después empecé a pensar en el fondo y a experimentar con varios colores hasta que se me ocurrió dibujar texturas como simulando una pared llena de plantas. Después pinte las hojas alrededor de los hombros y las rosas, al principio pinte las rosas con tonos muy vivos pero no quedaba nada bien con toda la paleta de color con la que estaba trabajando asi que baje un poco la saturación, como siempre añadí luces en ciertas zonas del rostro que quería resaltar y como últimos detalles hice un ligero ajuste de color y agregue un desenfoque en las esquinas del dibujo.

When I still didn't know what to do with the background, I put a solid color of a desaturated light brown, at first I painted the hair a light brown, but I felt that it didn't highlight her features the way I wanted, so I changed it to a slightly darker color. Then I started thinking about the background and experimenting with various colors until it occurred to me to draw textures like simulating a wall full of plants. Then I painted the leaves around the shoulders and the roses, at first I painted the roses with very vivid tones but it didn't look good with the entire color palette I was working with so I lowered the saturation a bit, as always I added lights in certain areas of the face that I wanted to highlight and as final details I made a slight color adjustment and added a blur in the corners of the drawing.
