Behind the mirror

Hola amigos, buenas noches. Hace muchísimo tiempo que tenia ganas de dibujar algo que tuviese un efecto de espejo roto, me refiero a dibujarlo yo misma ya que es un efecto que a mi parecer es bastante difícil de lograr, siendo sincera ya he realizado dibujos asi antes pero siempre me ayudaba con elementos png, sin embargo, siempre queda mejor todo cuando uno mismo lo hace, se ve más natural y se acopla mejor al dibujo que estas haciendo, no quedo perfecto pero si me gusto bastante el resultado, hice lo mejor que pude para simular este “espejo roto” acompañado de un retrato con tonalidades pálidas y nostálgicas, espero que les guste.

For a long time, I've wanted to draw something with a broken mirror effect. I mean drawing it myself, since it's an effect that I think is quite difficult to achieve. To be honest, I've done drawings like this before, but I always used PNG elements to help me. However, everything always looks better when you do it yourself. it looks more natural and fits better with the drawing you're doing. It's not perfect, but I really like the result. I did my best to simulate this “broken mirror” accompanied by a portrait with pale, nostalgic tones. I hope you like it.

Realicé mi boceto y empecé a elegir los colores de la piel, esta vez tonos azules y un poco de turquesa desaturados, tambien algo de rosa y para las sombras esta misma gama de colores, pero en oscuros, en una nueva capa comencé a añadir mas colores para darle mejor detalle al rostro y luego comenzar a mezclarlos, dejando asi una textura mas realista, tambien pinté las cejas y pestañas.

I made my sketch and began to choose the skin colors, this time using desaturated blue tones and a little turquoise, as well as some pink. For the shadows, I used the same color range, but in darker tones. On a new layer, I began to add more colors to give the face more detail and then began to blend them, creating a more realistic texture. I also painted the eyebrows and eyelashes.

Luego pinte el cabello de negro y agregue algunos reflejos de luz con un azul pálido, pinte un cigarrillo en su boca usando diferentes tonos de marrón, naranja blanco y grises, realmente fue complicado pintar una cosa tan mínima pero quería darle mucho realismo a este cigarrillo, después coloque una capa de color gris y jugué un poco con los efectos de esta capa hasta lograr verse traslucido, deje un hueco donde quería la grieta del espejo y comencé a pintar las grietas usando negro, blanco y azul, tambien dibuje humo saliendo del cigarrillo y por supuesto que finalice agregando algunos detalles de luz tanto a las grietas como algunas partes del rostro que quería resaltar.

Then I painted the hair black and added some highlights with a pale blue. I painted a cigarette in her mouth using different shades of brown, orange, white, and gray. It was really difficult to paint such a small detail, but I wanted to make the cigarette look very realistic. Then I added a layer of gray and played around with the effects of this layer until it looked translucent. I left a gap where I wanted the crack in the mirror and began to paint the cracks using black, white, and blue. I also drew smoke coming out of the cigarette and, of course, finished by adding some light details to both the cracks and some parts of the face that I wanted to highlight.
