My Journaling starts here; today
One of the wonderful things about having interesting people come to your place of business, is I get to hear insightful conversations.
This week, One of my podcast clients brought in Chris Williamson, the host of multiple podcasts including Modern Wisdom and the Chris Williamson - Learning out Loud website
Chris is a wonderful conversationalist and came in with loads of interesting thoughts and ideas. One of the things he talked about is this note-taking tool called Notion, which he uses for his daily journal.
And this got me thinking... Why not start my own journaling practice?
So this is it.
This is my first entry of my journaling practice, which currently has no clear direction other than to form a habit shared by great humans of history like Marcus Aurelius, Leonardo Davinci and Steve Jobs.
I have not defined a structure for my journaling practice, But I will start by sharing two thoughts.
- What I plan to do today
- What am I grateful for right now
This exercise is not intended to be time-consuming and my writings are certainly not expected to earn me a Pulitzer prize. This is an exercise in consistency and building habits that will help me be my best self.
What I plan to do today
After I publish this entry, I will do a little self-grooming by clipping my fingernails followed by a 5-10 meditation and some physical exercise.
What I am grateful for right now
I am grateful for for having crossed paths with people like Chris, who are smarter than me and have inspired me to make this very small but important decision to improve my daily habits.
