Guard shift - my entry for the #monomad contest.
Imagine how it could have been a guard duty in the Middle Ages ... Observing from a very small opening on the wall of the watchtower, eyes narrowed to be able to look further and the hours of waiting.
I tried it only for the time of the shot from inside the remains of an ancient medieval tower in Fagagna (Italy).
I can only imagine the fatigue of a guard shift ...
