Latest happenings,
The other day, February 22, 2023. The DPWH conduct a clearing operation of woods near the highway. Wood stump was excavated with backhoe, unfortunately, our pipe line was also damage.
Our maintenance respond around 1 pm. The damage happened around 12:30 pm. We able to finish almost 2 hours because two household connection were also damage.
It cost us 2 pcs. of 10 feet 2" PVC pipe to reconnect this line. This means a lot to us every damage of pipes because we are at financial crisis.
Damage pipe can be used after we cut those crack area for next operation. We can salvage maybe 3 or 4 feet from damage pipes to be used again. We will be needing more pipes if the next excavation can damage our pipe lines again.
RWASA is a non profit association that caters water to three barangay here in Macrohon, Southern Leyte.
