Sleepless bliss - A Poetic Practice

Never a glimpse of a moment you are not in my mind's eye, a vision I'm willing to stay for a very long time.

Your auburn hair blows softly as the wind caresses you, like my fingers hungrily touching every inch of you.

Those deep hazel eyes draws me in like a moth, drawn into the flame, bursting into life like a phoenix brought to life.

Your lips, hides your sweet tasting tongue, I'll savor all through the night, eternal delights twisting inside.

My beating heart exhausted but satiated, from your tight embrace, with racing breath I inhale deep and true.

You feel it as much as I do, oh how I long to have you close, we can smile and just be with each other for a while.

I'll close this now but rest assured you're not far from my thoughts, I sit here till the morning sun wakes me to you.
