Today I am allowed to present you my newest #generativeai creations of Lord Hanuman. It is after edited by myself via photoshop.

Yesterday I have shown up with some spiritual AI Images, but today I will concentrate on the God Hanuman and tell a funny story about him whixh a friend told me loooooong time ago.

When Hanuman wanted to eat the sun...

A story and legend about the Monkey Lord says that when he was a little monkey god, Hanuman was quite fond of the sun, thinking that the sun was actually a huge juicy mango.

The monkey god dreamed of sucking the sweet juice from the king of mangoes (the sun), and finally decided one day to do the same. In his mango madness, Hanuman decided to grab the mango from the sky and jumped from the earth towards the sun with his mouth wide open.

When he reached the same height as the sun, he took the whole sun in his mouth at once. However, to Hanuman's sorrow, the giant fruit he dreamed of turned out to be a very hot and hard mango, and the more he tried to chew it, the more he failed and the more he burned his mouth and tongue.

At this point it should be said that in Hindu tradition the sun is a god named Surya, now it can also be clear to any reader that the sun god was of course not exactly thrilled about being eaten. None of the other gods were happy about it. When another deity named Indra saw that the whole universe was being darkened by the appetite and hunger of a small monkey, he immediately hurled a thunderbolt at Hanuman, breaking his jaw ("Hanuman" translates as "the one with the broken jaw").

There are several endings, in one ending Hanuman walked away with his tail between his legs and a freshly broken jaw. God Indra, however, then took pity on the broken jaw and bestowed upon Hanuman extraordinary abilities that would eventually make up Hanuman's heroic status (and be crucial to his later role in the service of King Rama).

In another, it not only broke Hanuman's jaw, but actually killed the monkey. As a result, the wind god and Hanuman's father became very angry and took all the air out of the world. He told the other gods that he would release the air if his son lived. Well, of course, they gave hanuman new life again and he then also got the name Hanuman.
