Varius; The Diverse Project Revival

Alternate coins come in and go out of the crypto scene so fast, you’ll realize you didn’t sell out soon enough. Sometimes you don’t have to though. Diverse had been a pretty rapidly up-and-coming project before the time old coin tragedy reigned, and some unfavorable developer left before the project could really be finished. Unfortunately in the crypto market, some demand payment before product is produced, knowing they will abandon the project. Especially if you are hiring someone who was not originally part of the vision, it can be very hard to find those you trust.

Open source coins are empowering though. With so much work put into Diverse, the investors got hot once they realized that the project was being abandoning. The Discord went awry with users claim ‘scam!’ and asking for news. Under Maijel’s observation and Zero’s (zero24x) actions, they implemented a plan to help save the investors of Diverse.

Coin-Swaps, or the exchange of a ‘dead’ coins for an active coin with community, are common tactics in saving a project. Zero as a software engineer, took this chance to support the community. Having been an investor himself to the Diverse project, he decided to take it on and make it his own, thus Varius was born.

Varius was created to rectify those who were wronged of the Diverse project. Zero created a hybrid POS+POW coin to replace the dead coins, and are still holding that swap (swap ends May 6th!). Created with a peer to peer vision and being able to earn independent of the banking system. Varius’ long term focus is having a high-yield POS coin with monthly profit donations made to a charity. Short term goals at this time is becoming more available on active exchanges, Cryptobridge being their highest focus.

While all this coin talk is amazing, it doesn’t work without the community. Maijel is helping in the non-technical side of the project. He admitted that after a lot of investment in other projects, that this is first project that he has ever helped head. Regardless of both Zero and Maijel’s direct experience, they both seem confident and devoted to the cause.

Human understanding to care and make progress together knows no bounds, and it’s doesn’t take language to understand that this project is more than just a coin to these individuals involved. They have already made their first donation to Clearwaterproject. I really do hope to watch this project blossom into a beautiful longterm project with lots of success, further endorsing the inclusive nature of the blockchain technology helping others.
