It sounds perfectly dreadful, the whole experience.
I confess to hating my phone. All I want to do is contact a few people. I don't want my phone to pay my bills, or tell me the news. I don't want Instagram or Facebook on there (or anywhere!!).
The only new feature I appreciate on phones is texting. It's nice to be able to receive and send communications efficiently and clearly.
My son showed me a new phone he is ordering. It doesn't have all those 'smart' features. It makes calls, texts and has a map feature. I think that's it.
Right now I'm using a phone my husband discarded. It has 'smart' features and all his old contacts, but it's really good at doing what I want it to do: make and receive telephone calls.
Ranting is good. Better here than to you husband and daughter :))
