I also have always felt simpatico with you...a sense of shared experience though we lived so far apart.
That you lost a son...this is a hurt that changes life forever. In your case, I think it made you more compassionate. There is always kindness and grace in your blogs and in your comments.
As for the bed: Many years ago I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that makes it hard for me to be still. There's always a prelude to sleep that is filled with restlessness (and even during sleep). Still, my husband has said he can't sleep until I come to bed. We are very much a unit. Wasn't always that way. We had to grow.
