Thank you! Once again, your writing is inspired, and inspiring. The pictures are wonderful. You actually saw the original painting that I've seen duplicated in countless places. That must have been something.
Your pictures are wonderful (although the Red Light District didn't move me).
Watching the occasional bicycle click past and listening to the water lap against the canal walls was the perfect, quiet bookend to a day that began with the vibrant blossoms of Van Gogh.
Can't top that :)
