Places nobody wants anymore
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge - a small selection of pictures I have taken in our town of La Roche Sur Foron. They have a kind of sadly beautiful and maybe even spooky aura about them.
A used-to-be bar,a place of joy and gathering, now gathers dust all empty and alone.
An old repair centre in need of repair.
An old dwelling house on top of a hill with the kind of beauty, atmosphere and aura that the blocks of flats, which will be built on top of it, will never have.
I think these places are best represented in black and white. I only wish I could contrast them with colourful pictures from back in the day when they were full of life and light.
