Today, I am excited to share my startup gardening experience with the community. To be honest, this is my first time growing black beans in my entire life and I am so excited when I see my black beans start to germinate.

Growing black beans is not part of my plan and an idea popped up in my mind "why not I try to grow black beans" when my elder sister cooked a viand for lunch (a few days ago).

Since I also got an idea (an idea that I got from my father) on how to grow seeds by way of wrapping the seeds in a wet cloth. And I am lucky because the seeds germinate so quickly in just about three days they started to germinate.

I admit, as a startup gardener when I see my seeds or crop starts to germinate they make me happy. Just like what I felt when I saw my black beans start to germinate.

Below are the black beans seeds that I wrapped up with a wet cotton cloth

When I saw that almost all of the seeds are germinating I quickly planted them all over my garden including in some type of black soil that I gathered from my relatives' properties (just like in the photos below). Those sacks are filled with a different type of soil but they are all black soil that I gathered from different locations.

I planted three seeds in each sack. Four sacks are not enough to plant all the germinating seeds that I got so I just distributed/planted all the germinated seeds all over my vegetable garden.

Day 1: Planting the germinating seeds on sacks or black soil and all over my vegetable garden

I planted all the germinating seeds are shallow as possible so that the sprout will not rot. I also watered them well.

On the second day, there are still no sprouts coming out of the soil, I water them well again.

Day 3: Sprouts are coming out

On the next morning of day three, I noticed that the seeds are now starting to sprout

This sack probably contains the most fertile soil for the four sacks that I used to plant my black beans (notice the bigger sprout than the previous three sacks?)

Day 4: Leaves are now visible

On the fourth day, I am so happy to see my black beans grow so quickly from tiny sprouts into leaves.

In the next four photos below, leaves can now be clearly seen from all of the black beans that I have planted four days ago.

Aside from these four sacks, sprouts are only starting to come out from all the black beans that I have planted all over my garden probably because the soil on those locations is clay.
