Very important step for .org domains from ICANN!!!

ICANN, responsible for Internet domain registrations, has removed price restrictions on .org domains, despite objections from a large community.
ICANN made a major change to .org domains, removing price restrictions. With this change, Public Interest Registry, which manages .org domains, will be able to set the price they want for these domains. .org domain names are mostly used by non-profit organizations and other types of organizations. In addition, Afilias, who manages the .info domain, will be able to request as much money as possible for the .info domains.

According to Chip Online, only six out of 3,000 comments received by ICANN from relevant users support the removal of the ceiling price. There are currently approximately 10 million .org domain names registered. These domain names are registered with a system that prevents Public Interest Registry from raising prices as they wish.
