This one actually does the language translation. The one I featured in my previous post doesn't. I'm still at the set up stage, since I'm documenting the whole thing (everything is content these days 😂), so I can't actually evaluate if it's ok or not.

I got this for free by the way, from the TikTok shop. A seller sent it to me for an "honest" review with the agreement that I'd post the review on TikTok. You'd be surprised how common this is. It's some kind of quid pro quo. TikTok and YouTube have a rule that content creators must disclose this relationship, and it's actually illegal in the UK not to, but many people still don't. On TikTok, since the whole exchange is done via the app itself, it is automatically disclosed. Besides most people know that 99% of these reviews are effectively paid ads. At times, however, you'd ear the content creator say "this is not sponsored", or something to that effect, just to clarify that they're being "honest".

Of course one can still be honest after being paid, or receiving product for free. I never accept products with contracts or agreement to say only positive stuff. That's why I don't get the good stuff haha. Oh well, I'd rather be true to myself than sell my credibility for $1000 a pop, even though it is tempting haha.

Anyhow this is a simple, casual, unboxing video. That's the other thing; this casual vibe is really popular on YT nowadays. I think people have perfection fatigue caused probably by the advent of Generative AI. People just want to see and hear from people. I'm here for that all day :)
