In the mean time, take a ride with me on the JFK AirTrain.
The AirTrian is a train line that serves as a free way to get from platform to platform at JFK airport. It does, however cost some money if you exit it at Jamaica or Howard Beach station. At the point of post things, the charge is $5 - which is more than fair.
Ridding on this train is not just only a convenient way to get from one terminal to another, but it also brings you up close and personal with the airport. You haven't seen JFK until you've ridden on the AirTrain.
