Data management.

Hello friends. Is it very good to be back for another exciting week for us. For this week I believe that the topic is doing us more good because we are talking about data. Should our data be kept a secret or should it be made public so that everyone can have access to it and use it as they a want?

Considering the question before us today, one may be tempted to answer it the way it on personal basis. When we say let our data be allowed out, for what purpose? Then when we say that it should be kept secret, what for too. Does that mean that we have something to hide? Well it all depends on why one is given his or her answer.

It is to be noted that the government already has our data. It has been collected even from birth. We don't even need to give them the permission to collect our Data. The only problem is wether or not they are using it for our own good. This is just the fact there. But for me to say my mind wether I want my data to be out there in the public or to be kept in the secret for me, I will say that though it is very hard to say, but I prefer my Data to be away from the public. I just want to have it to myself.
Let's consider these points:

HOW THE GOVERNMENT GET OUR DATA.

• Through our NIN
• Through our BVN
• While in school as a student
• When collecting our driver's license
• When we go to the hospital for checkup or treatment.
• treatment
• During childbirth and what have you.

The question is - what does the government do with our data? In my own opinion, I think it should be to have accurate number of individuals residing in our country. But it that what is meant for? Absolutely not. They are just using our Data for their selfish purposes. I don't think we exist in their calendar. Just the elite and nothing more.
If the government use our data for the right purpose, then the students that died in Nasarawa state university should not have died. Their data's are there. What they government should have done was to use their data to know how many students they have in the school and send palliatives to their department directly. All the students will just be informed and they will move straight to their different departments to collect what the government have for them. But no, things like that will not be done, instead the poor masses will continue to suffer in their hands. They died just because the government wants to give them rice. May God have mercy on our government. Amen 🙏.

My data should be kept secret for me. Hence the government will not use it to help me or any other person, then there is no need of collecting our data's.
