On my 6 km run today I ran past a field of coneflowers. There are many different kinds of coneflower, this kind is called purple coneflower.
The coneflower is known as an old medicinal plant.Already the Indians of North America allegedly used the coneflower as a healing plant against cough, sore throat and tonsillitis. Today it is used as a support for respiratory or urinary tract infections and externally for poorly healing wounds.
In the case of the purple coneflower, the pressed juice of the above-ground plant parts or the preparation is used as tea.
As a photo motif the coneflower is always a highlight for me!
Bei meinem 6 km Lauf lief ich heute an einem Feld mit Sonnenhut Blumen vorbei. Es gibt sehr viele Arten von Sonnenhut, diese Art heißt Purpur Sonnenhut.
Der Sonnenhut ist als alte Heilpflanze bekannt. Bereits die Indianer Nordamerikas nutzten angeblich den Sonnenhut als Heilpflanze gegen Husten, Halsschmerzen und Mandelentzündung. Heute wird er zur Unterstützung bei Atemwegs- oder Harnwegs-Infekten sowie äußerlich bei schlecht heilenden Wunden eingesetzt.
Beim Purpur-Sonnenhut wird der ausgepresste Saft der oberirdischen Pflanzenteile oder die Zubereitung als Tee verwendet.
Als Photomotiv ist der Sonnenhut auf jeden Fall für mich immer ein Highlight!
