Graffiti - HOMER
Hello. Today I decided to graffiti the name 'Homer' from The Simpsons. After doing the Yoshi drawing yesterday I thought about other characters I could replace a letter with something that is recognisable and relatable with that name.
I really like how this piece turned out. I used yellow as this is recognisable as the skin colour of characters in The Simpsons. I then replaced the 'o' with the donut that Homer is often seen eating. I added 'Simpson' as a tag to the tail of the letter 'r' which I feel tied this piece together.
Overall, this is one of my best graffiti works so far, but there is still a few things that could be improved. There is some slight inconsistency in letter sizes (not including the 'o' as this was intentional). Although this is sometimes used to add to the piece, but for now I aim to improve the basics.
