Understanding perspectives.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
-J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
Hi everyone. I was scrolling on Hive today so thought to share my thoughts today in this community. I was reading a book. It says that history is biased. All of it. The person who writes history will always prefer his own version of the way he sees things.
This made me think that we all are different. We all see things differently. That is why we think that whatever our perspective is, it is the right one. However, we should give respect to each other's opinions. This is how we can turn this society and this community into a better and harmonized one.
Have a great day ahead.
Ps. The picture is mine taken with iphone 12 at my hostel
