The Impact Social Media Has On Me.

Social media can mean so many things. To some people, it’s a hub, to some, it’s a place to learn and to some, they are just there to catch fun. And I believe that we all will surely find our interests online.

Directly or indirectly, the social media has an effect on us. It’s either positive or negative. I feel the impact it has on us is based on what we do on it. This is why the profile of some people either puts them into trouble or lands them to grace.

Just a few days ago, I saw a tweet of Davido whom asked a Nigerian lady to send her account number to him that he wants to open a big shop for her. Asking that lady what social media has done for her, she will surely say something positive.

Let’s also throw it back to the time a lady was engaging in prostitution and posted inner parts of her body online. Immediately she was about to get married, she deleted her old posts and came up with new ones but the media never forgets. I wonder how people digged out her old posts and showed her fiancée who his wife to be used to be. That’s how they splited.
To her, the social media has a negative impact on her.

Those two instances are not all but they only serve as examples. I just feel the online world or social media will give you what you want. If you want to experience the positive, you will and if you want to experience the negative, you will also.

I think I like social media for one reason. The reason is that social media is a place full of different activities. No matter how introverted you can be, there will be something you are interested in online.
