Hi, hive family. So good to be here 😜

Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Abiathar Etiko. I hail from Ikom in Cross River State, Nigeria. If the name is too hard to pronounce, you can call me Abby, Princess 🏃I am the 3rd child in a family of six(6)... 3 girls and three boys. I am a versatile lady, but just call me an entrepreneur. I did my first college program in 2011 at Federal Polytechnic Mubi, Adamawa State, and graduated with a distinction in 2014 as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Fast forward to life after school, I worked in so many places like General Hospital Calabar, Bez Pharmacy Calabar, Airtel Office Calabar, then I thought to myself, why work for someone when you can learn something you have a passion for and make money out of it? Boom!! I went into fashion. I enrolled in a fashion shop in Calabar where I learnt how to sew female, male, and children's clothing. After graduation, I started sewing from home and came up with the brand name Abby’s Designs & more, but for the love of education, I wrote JAMB and went back to school to study Pharmacy at the University of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria.The journey started in 2016 and till date, ASUU no gri make we graduate yet o 😂 literally I am saying I am still studying pharmacy but that not withstanding, I still went ahead to practice(locum) in a pharmacy outlet, combining it with a fashion shop.

It has really not been easy. Even as a student, combining school and work wasn’t really easy, but Yahweh has been helping.

Talking about that, I believe so much in Yahweh that he tends to help me in so many things I least expected to do. OK, let me not bore you with my life stories. Now let me tell you about my hobbies.

Hobbies

Since I was a kid, I loved sewing. I got this interest in my junior secondary school days when I offered clothing and textiles ( Home Economics). I made dresses, aprons, and knitted at the tender age of 12. Aside from sewing, I love travelling, reading, cooking, singing, and listening to music. Tourism is my second name. I love to explore new places . I have been to literally all the states in Nigeria, so you know what I mean.

But you can never see me less busy and not on a sewing machine trying to design one or two things. I love making new friends and meeting new people. That is why I feel this community will give me the opportunity to meet like-minded people.
