My Postcrossing (8) - Molodechno, Balarus
The postcard I received this time is special for me, as it was from Molodechno in Balarus. I know nothing about Balarus. I only know that it was part of the USSR is now a country. So I am very interested in this postcard!
Molodechno was built in 1388 and on the postcard it’s a sculpture. I only have one clue about the sculpture which is from the message in the postcard: The sculpture is a historical character of the Herald, which contains the first documentary mention of the city of Molodechno. I tried to search Herald in Google but couldn’t find any result.
莫洛傑奇諾早於1388年已建立,明信片上是一個銅像,但我擁有的線索很少,這位朋友在明信片上寫道「The sculpture is a historical character of the Herald, which contains the first documentary mention of the city of Molodechno.」

Then I tried to search Molodechno Travel. Yeah! I found the place. It is called Плошча Старое Места, which should be a town square? I tried to search Плошча Старое Места then but can only find the introduction of the place in Belarusian:
I translated the content into English and saw: By Dozhinki in 2011 on the square was placed a bronze sculpture "Bulletin" authorship of Vladimir Zhbanov. Maybe Vladimir Zhbanov is the hint but….he was a sculptor and should be the author of the sculpture.
Okay! I give up! Please let me know if you know it!
By Dozhinki in 2011 on the square was placed a bronze sculpture "Bulletin" authorship of Vladimir Zhbanov.。
